Use & Customize Illustrations

Illustrations are a type of graphic.  Most illustrations can be customized.  Learn how to add, edit, and remove Illustrations.  



Illustrations are a great way to customize a design.  MustHaveMenus offers several categories of Illustrations, which can be browsed, or searched for specific content by keywords.

    Illustration Categories

    1. Accents: Bursts, Emblems, Shapes, Swirls, and various design elements to DIY.
    2. Borders: Frames, Text Spaces, Section Callouts
    3. Dividers: Decorative Lines and Separators
    4. Holiday: Assets relating to Holiday or Seasonal Content
    5. Social Media Icons
    6. Icons: Common Food Ordering & Delivery Logos
    7. Menu Icons: Vegetarian, Vegan, Dairy-Free, Spice Indicators, Shellfish warnings, and other Dietary Restriction callouts
    8. Nature: Floral elements, Trees, Leaves, Plants, Vines and more.
    9. Food
    10. Drinks
    11. Kids: Black & white graphics that are great to use for coloring pages, puzzles, activities, and games that are great for Kids Menus.
    12. Kitchen: Kitchenware like plates, utensils, glasses, bakeware, BBQ grills, and more.
    13. Text: Decorative text and Word Art for Kids Menus, Holidays, Special Events, and Section Headers.
    14. Sports: Trophies, Bowling, Golf, Soccer, Basketball, Football, Tennis, Baseball, Hockey, and more.
    15. Backgrounds: Patterns, and full page graphics
    16. QR Frames

    Add an Illustration

    From within the design editor, from the left panel, select Graphics, then select Illustrations.

    Browse the categories, or search by keyword.

    Select an Illustration to have it appear on the canvas.


    Customize an Illustration

    Most Illustrations can be color customized.  If an Illustration has editable colors, they will show on the top toolbar.

    Select the color boxes on the top toolbar to change each color element of the Illustration.

    Use any of the color editing options to change the color. 

    Using Template Colors, this Illustration was quickly customized to match the original design color theme.  


    Delete an Illustration

    Select the Illustration on the canvas, and then select the Trash can icon in the upper right to remove.
