Learn how to use OptiSigns to create playlists and display digital menu board designs.

What is needed to get set up:
A digital menu board design created on MustHaveMenus
An account with OptiSigns
A firestick (These are only $39 and can be purchased on Amazon)
A screen with an HDMI port
Connection to the internet
To start choose a new digital menu board template or open a digital menu board that is already created on MustHaveMenus.
Once the design is finished and is ready to share it to the TV screen, click Share in the upper right corner of the software.
Choose the OptiSigns option and follow the prompts to sign into an existing OptiSigns account. If you do not have one, an account can be created here.
Once logged into the OptiSigns account, plug in the firestick into the HDMI port on the TV screen. Connect it to the internet and then proceed to the Amazon app store.
In the App store, type in OptiSigns and download the app to the firestick. Launch the app and this page will appear.
Once the TV screen and OptiSigns account are paired, go back to MustHaveMenus on the computer. In the share drop-down, choose the copy option after clicking on OptiSigns. This will copy a link to the clipboard on the computer.
Go back to the OptiSigns account and navigate to the Files/Assets tab. Click on Apps and search for MustHaveMenus then select our app.
Fill in the info. It there is more than one page in the menu design, make sure to repeat this process to add each page. The update interval can also be changed. This is how often the page will check for menu updates coming from MustHaveMenus.
Once all the pages are added to the files the playlist can be created. Playlists can be assigned to the display. Select the Create Playlist option and choose the files that need to be added to the playlist. Customize slide transitions, display time per slide, and more.
Finally, once the playlist is created, go back to the Screens tab and go to the screen that was added earlier. Assign the playlist to the screen and it will be displayed! Please note, the times the playlists run can be scheduled under the Schedules tab.
Need to make a change? No problem. Make an update to the design on MustHaveMenus and choose the publish changes option. The display will automatically show your changes on OptiSigns after a few minutes.
