To start choose a new digital menu board template or open a digital menu board that is already created on MustHaveMenus.
Once the design is finished and ready to share on the screen, click Share in the upper right corner of the software.
Once logged into the TelemetryTV account go back to MustHaveMenus. In the share drop-down, choose the page number on the design you wish to use and select the copy option after clicking on TelemetryTV. This will copy a link to the computer's clipboard.
Next, open the TelemetryTV desktop or browser app and select the Playlist tab from the left side of the screen. Then choose the desired playlist and the page that the menu needs to be added to. In "Apps", select the Website App and paste the link in the "URL" field.
There will be two options:
Embed the link as a "Live Webpage": Selecting "Live Webpage" will display a webpage live. If there are any dynamic elements on the webpage such as moving images or a slideshow, this option should be selected. MustHaveMenus does not require a login name or password, these fields can be left blank.
OR: "Capture as an Image": This option will take a screenshot of a webpage that will be displayed on the screen. The screenshot will update depending on the customizable refresh interval settings. There are a few more options to configure with the "Capture with Image" embed mode:
Select a Size based on the screen resolution of the screen being used to display the webpage.
Select a Refresh Interval to determine how often the app takes a new snapshot of the webpage.
Delay refers to the time the system waits to take the snapshot once the page has been rendered. Some webpages don't show the content right away depending on the makeup of the page, so if you are noticing problems with the screenshots it can be delayed by a few seconds to ensure it captures the content correctly. We recommend starting with a delay of 0, and testing it out to see what works for the webpage.
Select Create and the screen is ready to go!
Need to make a change? No problem. Make an update to the design on MustHaveMenus and choose the publish changes option. The display will automatically show the changes on TelemetryTV after a few minutes.
